DESCRIPTION

This class is an overview of the vocabulary used in cloud-based forensics, investigative genetic genealogy  & DNA in criminal cases.

The interpreter will complete a glossary, which will be put into practice by interpreting (VRI) the newly learned lingo.

OBJECTIVES:

Complete a glossary & practice Consec/Simul interpretation (VRI)  of nomenclature and lingo related to investigative genetic genealogy, cloud-based forensics & DNA cases.

By the end of the seminar, interpreters will be able to:

1.- Learn the basics of a glossary

2.- Learn terminology search techniques

3.- Accrue a series of AI & research  resources

4.- Review criminal & civil cases terminology

5.- Compile glossary

6.- Practice terminology using Zoom Simul interpretation (VRI)

-Tools for The Remote Interpreter

-Computer with webcam
